ABOUT THE SANTA FE SKATING CLUB
The Santa Fe Skating Club was established in 2002 when the Genoveva Chavez Community Center opened. The Club is a member of U.S. Figure Skating, the governing body of figure skating in the United States. We encourage and facilitate the instruction, practice, and advancement of all types of figure skating. Our members include skaters of all ages and levels; from beginners to advanced skaters, recreational skaters, supportive family members, coaches, and judges.
Our home rink is the Genoveva Chavez Community Center Ice Arena. This is a multi-use facility operated by the City of Santa Fe Parks and Recreation Department. The Chavez Center is located at 3221 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM 87507. The telephone number for the ice arena is 505-955-4033.
